1. About the Company
Founded in Montreal in 1993, Diverse Electronics is an authorized distributor of electronic and industrial components, production tools, and equipment. The company works with more than 150 manufacturers and supplies a broad range of products to businesses across Canada and worldwide.
With decades of industry experience, the brand is built on product choice, technical expertise, dependable service, and long-term customer relationships.

2. The Challenge

Diverse Electronics had a well-established name and a loyal professional audience, but its visual identity no longer reflected the scale and experience of the company.
The challenge was not to reinvent the brand, but to carefully modernize it — preserving its recognizable character while creating a clearer, more consistent system for corporate communication, marketing, print, and events.

3. An Evolution, Not a Revolution

The redesign followed an evolutionary approach. The new identity needed to feel contemporary and more structured, while remaining familiar to long-standing customers, suppliers, and employees.
The updated logo combines a compact symbol with a confident wordmark, creating a practical and recognizable signature that works across both small-format applications and large-scale corporate environments.

4. A System Built Around Choice

Inspired by the company’s promise, “You’ve got options,” the visual system is based on variety within a clear structure.
Elements derived from the logo were transformed into a flexible geometric pattern. Different shapes, lines, rhythms, and shades of blue represent the company’s broad product range, while the repeated visual language keeps every application connected to the brand.

5. Designed for Everyday Business

The identity was developed as a practical working system rather than a collection of isolated brand visuals. A complete set of guidelines defined the use of the logo, typography, color palette, pattern, and supporting graphic elements.
The system was then applied across stationery, business cards, presentation folders, promotional materials, trade show graphics, calendars, employee and visitor items, and other corporate touchpoints. The result is a consistent identity that can adapt to different formats without losing recognition.

A cohesive visual identity created to support the next chapter of a trusted Canadian company.
